dh designs is owned and operated by Donna Hargrove
Donna is a trained decorator with an honours certificate from Algonquin College in Ottawa.
With studies encompassing colour theory, principles of design, the planning of furniture placement, the selection and specification of hard and soft finishes, Donna can bring her expertise and experience to your project, large or small.

We will meet at your home to assess your decor requirements and discuss what you are trying to accomplish through hiring a decorator. We will assess the current space and furnishings and discuss options to achieve your objectives.
Whether you are buying a new home, renovating your space or your entire home, we will help you with your finish selections. From flooring to cabinets to lighting, we'll work with you to make the finish selections that give you spectacular results.
Colour Consultation
Furniture/Upholstery Selection
Buying the right furniture is key to the look and feel of a space, defining the purpose and comfort level. We can help with selecting the right pieces for the right spaces. We can also help in selecting a new look for your current furniture.
This meeting will revolve around the selection of colour for your space. Selections are based on a combination of factors; your likes and dislikes, colours in adjoining spaces the amount of light (natural and artificial) and the function of the space.
Window Treatments
Room Layout/Space Planning
Selecting an appropriate window treatment for your room can be daunting. We can help take the mystery out of adding striking, functional window treatments that complement your decor and provide the necessary privacy and light control for your rooms.
Where you place your furniture can make all the difference in how a room flows. We will work with your new or current furniture to come up with a plan that will address the size and function of your space while taking into account the traffic flow to and from adjoining rooms.
